Dark Desire (Carpathians, #2) Dark Desire by Christine Feehan

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Definitely much better than the 1st book…the story was well thought out and followed a definite plot line. I didn’t get bounced around jumping from one thing to the next as I did in Dark Prince. The character development is much better as well, however, I’m not sure if that is just because by the second book I’m becoming more familiar, or if it in fact is her writing. I’d like to think it is both. Even though this story was much better told than the first I’m still having trouble getting into this series. Haven’t been able to quite put my finger on what’s bothering me about it but something isn’t clicking for me. I will continue to read however, and see if it gets better.

I read to save my sanity, plain & simple. I am a married mother of 3 (2 of which are teenagers, yay me!) who needs an escape from the eye rolls, attitude and day to day drama that comes along with raising teenagers. Without books, I would be medicated ;)
