Sweet SurrenderSweet Surrender by Maya Banks

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After reading the KGI series by Maya Banks, I knew that I simply had to get my hands on everything written by her. I was not disappointed with the introduction and 1st entry to the Sweet series. Maya has a way of writing a very heartfelt love story with just the right amount of erotica in it. Often times when reading erotica you feel like the story is only about the sex with just a couple of obligatory plot lines mixed in. Sweet Surrender, IMHO, was definitely not in that category! Gray & Faith were too very strong characters that I rooted for the entire book. Even though the plot arc was pretty predictable, I still loved the story & loved that Gray & Faith both knew what they wanted and weren’t scared to make it known or to settle for less. Can’t wait for the next one!

I read to save my sanity, plain & simple. I am a married mother of 3 (2 of which are teenagers, yay me!) who needs an escape from the eye rolls, attitude and day to day drama that comes along with raising teenagers. Without books, I would be medicated ;)

I think this is an excellent series. I like that they're erotica, but they have a good action/danger element to them as well. Maya Banks is great :) Good reading!!

I agree! Maya does a great job of marrying the two elements to make a wonderful story :)
