November Spotlight: What’s Next for Nicholas Olivo

Can you believe it, today is the last day of November!!!  My Christmas shopping days are fast dwindling and my time spotlighting the fabulous Nicholas Olivo is also coming to end.  I have so enjoyed having him on the blog this month and I hope that you have picked up a copy of Imperium.  It truly is a wonderful read and would make a wonderful Christmas gift for the yourself or a reader on your list ;)  Please make sure to visit  Nicholas Olivo on his site to stay informed of any new releases of this series, I know he has several things in the works.  If you haven’t already done so, make sure to also enter to win your very own e-copy of Imperium.  The Rafflecopter widget is located at the end of the post :) but hurry, the contest ends tonight at 11:59pm EST.

Alyssa asked me what else I had going on in the Caulborn’s universe. I’m proud to announce a newly released short story called KRAMPUSNACHT.

“Over sixty years ago, a group of gremlins banished Krampus the Christmas Demon to Hell. Now he’s back and he’s out for revenge. He’s abducted Santa and now it’s up to Gearstripper the gremlin and Jake the security guard to rescue Santa and save Christmas.”

You don’t need to have read IMPERIUM to read KRAMPUSNACHT. It’s a self-contained story told from Gearstripper’s perspective, so if you’d like to know what it’s like to be inside a gremlin’s head, this is your chance. KRAMPUSNACHT also features two bonus short stories, PAUSE and FULFILLMENT. These stories feature the Chroniclers (an organization that monitors the timestream) and the Strangers (who ensure prophecies come to pass) respectively. So if you’d like to learn more about the world that Vincent Corinthos and the Caulborn live in, this is a great way to do it. If you have read IMPERIUM,  KRAMPUSNACHT offers a closer look at and some interesting new information about some of the characters you met. (Obviously Gears, but also Jake and Mrs. Rita.)

I’m also working on book 2 in the Caulborn series, which will again be from Vincent’s perspective. It is still very much a WIP, but I’m anticipating an early summer release, so if you like the Caulborn world, keep an eye out for it.

Thanks again for having me, Alyssa!

[box type="bio"]Vincent Corinthos leads a triple life. As a secret agent, he handles paranormal threats; as a god, he protects his followers from evil forces; as a stock clerk, he keeps the back room of an antique store tidy. When one of his fellow agents goes missing, Vincent begins with the usual suspects. His investigation reveals that Boston’s latest supernatural threat is also waging war on his followers, and has diabolic intentions for the city’s paranormal citizens. Now, with the aid of a new partner and a gremlin, Vincent must locate the missing agent, defend his followers and learn the identity of his adversaries before they can revive a malevolent force that’s been dormant since World War II.[/box]

I read to save my sanity, plain & simple. I am a married mother of 3 (2 of which are teenagers, yay me!) who needs an escape from the eye rolls, attitude and day to day drama that comes along with raising teenagers. Without books, I would be medicated ;)
