[box style="rounded" border="full"]Three people. One erotic fantasy. And a twentieth wedding anniversary like no other.

Jeannie yearns for the return of passion in her marriage. Jake wants new excitement in the form of another man, in a way that won’t upset the balance of his relationship with his wife. Pothos is one of the erotes and an aspect of Eros, the Olympian god of desire. On the last night of winter this couple’s distinctive yearning has called to him, and by the power of the erotes he intends to rekindle the flame of Jeannie and Jake’s passion in a night of desire that could be the ultimate platinum anniversary gift.

And when the gods of love decide your marriage needs a boost, they never do it by halves.

This book was on fire ;)  Jennifer Lynne combines just the right amount of love, passion & eroticism to make this a smokin’ hot read and a MUST add to your TBR list.  If you are in between books and need a quick read novella to fill the space, Platinum Passion is perfect.Jeannie & Jake have been married for 20 years and between kids, work and the everyday routine the spark between them has been lost.   Their love for one another is still just as strong as when they married but they’ve become tired & complacent (after being married for 19 yrs, I can certainly understand).  They realize that this is an issue for them but they haven’t found the solution, until Pothos comes along.I really identified with the story that Jennifer gave us in this book.   The stress of everyday life, kids, work, bills, etc. wears us down and makes it difficult to realize the passion that can still exist with your spouse.  Pothos helped Jeannie & Jack tear down walls they had erected, profess & fulfill fantasies with him and each other, that otherwise would have remained unspoken for the fear of rejection.   The lesson is a simple one, but sometimes those are the hardest to learn, be open and  honest with your spouse/lover/significant other and never be afraid to try new things…it was the spark that re-ignited their passion and made them remember and experience all the joy & ecstasy they’d been missing.

I cannot wait to continue this series and to read more from this fabulous author!

I read to save my sanity, plain & simple. I am a married mother of 3 (2 of which are teenagers, yay me!) who needs an escape from the eye rolls, attitude and day to day drama that comes along with raising teenagers. Without books, I would be medicated ;)
