She once led him around by a string. Now he’s the one holding the reins.

Georgia Hotchkiss swore wild horses couldn’t drag her back to Sundance, Wyoming. So it’s ironic she’s forced to take a rodeo PR job in her former hometown—right before her ten-year class reunion. The only thing worse than facing her cheating ex-husband and his pregnant wife? Showing up to the reunion without a date. Fate smiles on her when she runs into her former classmate and current cowboy hottie Tell McKay. With his infectious smile and fun-loving ways—not to mention his banging body—he’s the perfect solution to her problem.

Tell McKay had it so bad for Hot Lips Hotchkiss during high school that he let her run roughshod over him. But he is no longer that easily manipulated boy—these days he’s earned a reputation with the ladies that lives up to the McKay last name. He agrees to escort her to the reunion with one stipulation; that Georgia proves she has left behind the goody-goody cheerleader of the past—by sharing his bed.

Their sexual chemistry flashes so bright, they barely notice that the reunion has come and gone, and now they’re tangled up in another dreaded “R” word—relationship. But if Tell wants to get the girl this go-around, he’ll have to come up with a whole new set of knots to tie up her heartstrings.

Warning: Contains a sweet talkin’ wild cowboy with a wagon load of crazy-hot sex fantasies and the mad bedroom skills to back up his claims.

Smokin’ hot & completely irresistible…

This not only describes Tell McKay, but also this newest addition to the Rough Riders series!  Lorelei James continues to deliver the sexiest & best panty-melting cowboys EVER, after 13 books, this series just keeps getting better & better :)

Hard to believe, but in high school, Tell was the geeky scrawny kid who crushed on Georgia, the head cheerleader.  Now 10 years later – he’s known as a ladies man and fully lives up to the male McKay family tradition ;)  However, there is a deeper side to him.  Growing up as one of Casper’s sons was not easy and has given him a need to always feel like he has to prove himself.  He never had the loving parents that the other McKay’s grew up with and he, as well as, his brothers feel like the outcasts of the family – never taken seriously.  He wants to be seen as a man and no longer feel like just the jokester of the family.

Georgia Hotchkiss has just been transferred back to the one place, she swore never to come back to – Sundance, Wyoming.  After marrying her high school sweetheart, she suffers the devastating loss of her twin brother, RJ.   She disconnects from everyone in her grief and then divorces her husband after she catches him cheating.  For seven years, she is adrift and never allows herself to get close to anyone.  After moving back she realizes the mistakes she has made & what she has to do to overcome them and stay true to herself.

Tell & Georgia are the perfect complement to each other.  Even though they start out as just fun, they quickly realize that are so much more – even if they don’t want to admit it.  Their love story is sweet and has a chemistry that ignites off the pages.  Tell’s sweetness & dominance mixed with Georgia’s willingness and steel backbone make this one of my favorite Rough Riders stories.

I read to save my sanity, plain & simple. I am a married mother of 3 (2 of which are teenagers, yay me!) who needs an escape from the eye rolls, attitude and day to day drama that comes along with raising teenagers. Without books, I would be medicated ;)
