This book and these characters were a blast to write.  I have never had more fun writing a book then I did while writing Deadly Secrets, Loving Lies. From the onset, this book was going to be different from any of my others. It was more over-the-top, more fun. More outrageous! Even the setting was beyond normal. The book starts with Genie who lives in a tree house—a house on stilts in the desert she designed as her fortress.

I had so much fun with this house! I wasted countless hours on Google trying to find the perfect image and this was the closest I’ve been able to come up with. Imagine this house sitting out in the middle of the desert, without the mountains around it and you have Genie’s tree house. Or Mushroom house, as Kyle likes to call it. Even though he knows it annoys Genie to no end!

But that’s just the way Kyle is. Kyle is Genie’s hero. Of course, she fights it. She doesn’t think he will be able to handle her secrets. She’s wrong. Just like she’s wrong about the fact that deep inside she doesn’t believe she deserves him. She does. And soon she will come to realize it. I mean, look at him!

The man is hard to resist. He’s the perfect death-defying Alpha hero willing to do anything and everything to protect Genie. But he’s furious at her at the same time for being so careless with her life. It’s incredibly sexy the way he cares about her so much that he almost loses his control. They are truly a perfect for each other.

But as the title suggests, Genie has ‘secrets’. Secrets she and her sisters don’t want Kyle to know about. Shh, we can’t let him find out.  Genie and her sisters have abilities. I don’t think of them as super heroes—they can’t fly or run faster than a speeding bullet. But they are special! They can feel what your feeling, what you’re intentions are—and sometimes they can even “see” them. And that’s not the only thing that makes them special–they’re triplets. And not only that, they rock!

Genie, our heroine of Deadly Secrets, Loving Lies —is our super kick-ass undercover Counter Terrorism Agent.

Cat, heroine of book 2 in the series – is our mom with boy/girl twins of her own who keeps WAY too many secrets from her adorable hunk of a husband who doesn’t hesitate to wield the nearest weapon he can find, even if it’s only a golf club, at whoever might be messing with his kids!

Becca, heroine of book 3 – the drama queen who causes more trouble than the girls or the men in their lives know how to deal with. This one might even be too much for me to get my head around!

All three of these girls are too hot to handle, and don’t make it easy for the men in their lives. See for yourself in this small excerpt from Deadly Secrets, Loving Lies:

Genie stood on the roof of the strange house. Three black SUVs were corralled on the ground far below her.  She looked incredible, breathtaking, silhouetted against the brilliant blue sky. Kyle sucked in a breath as she clipped a cable to her belt.

“She’s getting ready to fly!” Johnny called out, his voice rising in pitch.

“Hold on, baby. I’m almost there.” Kyle pushed down on the throttle urging the bird faster, even as he willed Genie to turn and see him, to hold on until he could sweep her away from the danger.  And once he did, once he had her safe and secure in his cockpit, then what?  Then he’d try not to kill her himself.
